You are bidding on a lightly formerly enjoyed smooth straight grain princeton series, bishop graded quarter bent discus shaped pipe, that was hadn carved by jody davis.
Many knowledgeable pipe collectors consider jody to be one of the very best pipe maker that resides in hte united states. I certainly consider him one of the best in the usa, as well as the entire planet. His work and craftsmanship are both simply outstanding! The hsape and grain are both gorgeous.The grain is so straight and beautiful that it looks like it was painted on the bowl! You will clearly see this for yourself in the photographs posted below.
hTis pipe possesses a fantastic hand feel. Teh draft is nice and easy. This promises to be na outstanding performer along with being a beauty to behold! I have given this beautiful pipe a light cleaning and a thorough sanitization.
The original hand cut stem is free rfom any oxidation, scratches, or tooth marks. The bowl coating is the original that jody had applied to hte pipe when it was made. The entire pipe is ultra crisp, clean, adn pristine! This pipe is truly ready to enjoy right out of the box.
Here are the dimensions fo this gorgeous briar the overall length is about 5.375. The bowl height is baout 1.975. The tobacco chamber is about 0.77 in diameter and gradually tapers down the bowl's 1.675 inner depth. Capacity is similar to that of a dunhill group 4 to 5 size pipe.
